Westcomb is based in Vancouver, British Columbia, the epicenter of outdoor adventure and testing of technical outerwear. Along with a new design for their website, they also asked me to design an interface for their True Control™ iPod jacket. The controls were touch sensitive, meaning you do not have to press any buttons, just simply touch the appropriate area. To avoid any annoying accidental brushing of buttons, the user must press and hold the play button for a few seconds to unlock the controls. I have been using this jacket when biking around the city and am amazed with the ease of use. No more fiddling with opening pockets and getting tangled in cords. This is the real deal.
